Tony Nolley is an award-winning editor with over 25 years of experience in television promotion and marketing, with a specialty in BTS style content.

 

For the last 16 years, he has been a senior editor at FOX Television where he worked on the launches of groundbreaking dramatic hits including Empire, The Resident and Bones. He also edited extended content for comedies like New Girl, Arrested Development and Glee; animated shows The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers and Family Guy; reality shows American Idol, Cosmos and Master Chef

 

Throughout his career, Tony has shown the ability to be versatile, collaborative and creative during the entire post-production process. Crafting the story from the script, editing, compositing and color-correcting, he then delivered to network broadcast and to streaming social media providers Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo and TikTok.

 

In addition, he has worked for various trailer houses and on several network shows. His backround as a professional musician and graphic designer has helped Tony stand out as an editor, keeping him in constant demand for music-based and graphics-dependent content. Early in his career he helped define the look and sound of MTV’s groundbreaking hit The Real World as its unofficial music supervisor and graphic layout artist.

 

Tony is a member in good standing with NABET and IBEW with multiple ProMax/BDA Awards to his name. He is also a regular guest speaker for film and TV post-production courses at his alma mater, Cal State, Northridge. In his free time he runs a youth-based motorcycle racing league that is focused on developing future world champions.
